The house where our meadow began
The Meadow House is our first glamping house in the Ore Mountains. The year-round design tiny house in ash wood with a Finnish sauna stands in the middle of a meadow, and from the terrace and even from bed you can see far across the Ore Mountains plateau. It is 1.5 hours by car from Prague.
People used to say that nature had abandoned the Ore Mountains. Today it is a place where you find it again. Sauna, sunsets, starry skies and morning mist over the hills. Take a look at the photo gallery of the Meadow House.
Nearby, at the edge of the forest, stands its twin, the Forest House. The same design, only with a poplar interior and a different atmosphere.

The house stands in the middle of the meadow and nothing blocks the view. Morning mist over the valley, landscape to the horizon by day, and in the evening the sun dipping over the plateau and setting right into your window. And at night, a starry sky without a single light.
From May to October you share the meadow with a herd of cows. They are very gentle ladies and an essential part of the place. In the evening, just fire up the sauna and watch the plateau slowly sink into darkness.

What you ask us
The Meadow House stands in Malý Háj in the Ore Mountains, in the middle of a meadow overlooking the plateau, close to our second house, the Forest House. It is about 1.5 hours by car from Prague. You will receive the exact address once your booking is confirmed.
Both houses have the same layout, equipment and Finnish sauna. They differ in location, atmosphere and the wood of the interior. The Meadow House stands in the middle of a meadow with open views over the Ore Mountains plateau and shares it with cows from May to October. The Forest House stands right at the edge of the forest and offers more privacy. Both houses have the sunset right in the window. Inside, they differ in the wood: the Meadow House is ash, the Forest House is poplar. And in the toilet: the Meadow House has a chemical toilet, the Forest House a separating toilet.
The Meadow House sleeps 2+2 in two king-size beds. It suits couples as well as families with children.
A night at the Meadow House costs 3,400 CZK on weeknights (Sunday–Thursday) and 4,400 CZK at weekends (Friday, Saturday). The price includes the fully equipped tiny house with its Finnish sauna.

Yes! Pets are warmly welcome at the Meadow House. The pet fee is 500 CZK per stay.

Yes, the Finnish sauna is part of the accommodation and available all year round – in summer and winter alike. Perfect for relaxing after a full day out in nature.
The kitchen has a frying pan, 2 pots, a moka pot, a French press, a tea kettle, mugs, wine glasses, cutlery, plates, bowls, a corkscrew, a potato peeler and a colander for pasta or salad.
Kampot pepper and salt from .pepper..field, cane sugar, coffee (100% Arabica for hand grinding), Japanese Sencha green tea and Sedmikvítek herbal tea by Grešík, Italian cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil and honey from a beekeeper in nearby Hora Svaté Kateřiny. For cooking there is ghee. In the fridge you will find eggs from happy hens at the Kateřina farm (organic farm of the year 2022).
The nearest shop is about 20 km away, the nearest larger towns are Chomutov (approx. 25 km) and Most (approx. 30 km). We recommend shopping before you arrive or ordering one of our hampers.
